Do I need any equipment?

Please bring a blanket for relaxation at the end of class. We encourage you to bring your own mat for hygiene and comfort. If you don’t have one, don’t worry, just let us know!

If you have any yoga blocks or bricks please bring them along, but this is not essential.

Do I have to take my shoes and socks off?

Yes please!

It's best to go barefoot for yoga, it helps with grounding and balance. If you prefer, you can use yoga socks

I'm not bendy or flexible can I do yoga?

Yoga is a process not a destination...

You do not need to be flexible to start or even practice yoga. Some people are naturally more flexible than others. It is not about achieving the perfect pose, its about listening to your body and responding to its limits and developing with consistent practice.

What happens if I can't do the exercises?

It's perfectly normal to find some yoga poses challenging, even a seasoned yogi may find some things challenging some days.

Modifications will always offered making them accessible for all levels and a resting pose is something you can visit at any point during the class.

We all progress at our own pace and yoga is not a competition, please don't compare yourself to others in the class, this is your personal journey.
