Gina graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Arts, followed by a PGCE in Secondary Dance Education from Brighton University.
She has over 20 years of experience working in both community and educational settings, developing and delivering arts projects for schools, local authorities, and arts organisations. These include PE & School Sports and Physical Literacy teams, Arts Development teams, Head4Arts, Collective Learning, and Upbeat Music and Arts.
Gina has taken on various roles such as dance tutor, mentor, trainer, and project manager, working with a wide range of students and educators across the region.
She specialises in dance and creative movement and is passionate about embedding fun and creativity into people's lives through the arts.
Now, she is immersed in a 500-hour yoga teacher training course with the British Wheel of Yoga, and beginning her yoga teaching journey through adult community classes. Drawing on her deep understanding of movement and anatomy, she is dedicated to making yoga fun, accessible, inclusive, and enriching for all. Drawing on her contemporary dance roots, Gina blends asana into dynamic flows, incorporating breath, fluidity and a hint of creativity into every session.
