Inspiring Active Bodies and Creative Minds

Mini Movers brings the energy of dance and music into schools, supporting learners to explore, create, and express through fun, active sessions. Aligned with the Curriculum for Wales, our sessions help children develop physical confidence, emotional well-being, and creative curiosity through expressive movement and imaginative play.

We work with:

  • Foundation Phase & Key Stage 2 learners

  • Nurseries and Early Years settings

  • Schools seeking engaging PPA cover or enrichment activities

Our creative movement sessions encourage:

  • Exploration of identity and voice

  • Collaboration, resilience, and self-expression

  • Embodied learning through rhythm, space, and dynamic flow

  • Joyful physical literacy that supports health and well-being

Mini Movers sessions are interactive, inclusive, and rooted in the belief that movement helps learners thrive—ambitious, capable, and full of imagination.

Progression Step 1
Early years music and movement

At Mini Movers, we create joyful, high-energy experiences that support the early developmental needs of young learners through movement, rhythm, and playful exploration. Our sessions nurture creative curiosity and provide opportunities for children to explore their world through expressive movement, story, props, and sensory play.

Inspired by the Curriculum for Wales and grounded in the four purposes, Mini Movers supports children to become:

  • Healthy, confident individuals through active movement and self-expression

  • Ambitious, capable learners who explore ideas physically and imaginatively

  • Ethical, informed citizens through inclusive, co-created experiences

  • Enterprising, creative contributors who share their ideas with joy and confidence

We offer tailored sessions for nurseries, parents and toddlers, early years classes, and family engagement sessions that celebrate individuality and support progression across physical, emotional, and creative milestones. Activities encourage spontaneous responses, imaginative thinking, and interaction with others, all while laying strong foundations for well-being and expressive development.

Every child is encouraged to move in their own way, at their own pace—because we believe movement is not just activity, but a powerful language of learning.

Progression Steps 2-3
Creative Movement for Curious Minds

Our sessions encourage learners to explore and express their ideas through movement, using stories, imagery, props and video as creative starting points. Aligned with Progression Steps 2 and 3, children are supported to refine their thinking, communicate imaginatively, and respond physically and emotionally in ways that reflect their growing confidence and voice.

We design our creative movement experiences to enrich the Expressive Arts and Health and Well-being Areas of Learning and Experience—developing coordination, collaboration, and curiosity through purposeful play and guided exploration. Each session nurtures physical expression and emotional literacy, helping learners to connect with themselves, each other, and the wider world.

Whether it’s a single taster, a deep-dive day, or a series delivered over a term, sessions can be tailored around specific topics, supporting learners to explore concepts in a meaningful, embodied way.
